Schafhund Child’s Privacy Disclosure
Your Child’s privacy is important to Schafhund and always will be. So we’ve developed a Privacy Disclosure that covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your child’s information. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and let us know if you have any questions.
Protecting children is an important priority for everyone at Schafhund. We believe in transparency and giving parents the information they need to determine what is best for their child. We work hard to offer controls for parents that are intuitive and customizable.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS DISCLOSURE DOES NOT APPLY TO THE DATA COLLECTION PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTY APPS. PRIOR TO PURCHASE OR DOWNLOAD, YOU SHOULD REVIEW THE TERMS, POLICIES, AND PRACTICES OF SUCH THIRD PARTY APPS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT DATA THEY MAY COLLECT FROM YOUR CHILD AND HOW SUCH DATA MAY BE USED.
Creating Your Child's Schafhund Product ID
In order to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws in other applicable jurisdictions, which govern online collection of data from children, Schafhund may take additional steps to verify that the user granting permission for the creation of a child's Schafhund Product ID is his or her parent or legal guardian.
Collection of Information
As part of the process of creating an Schafhund Product ID for your child, we will ask you to provide us with the following information: your child's full name, birthdate, password, and the answers to three security questions that can be used to verify access to your child's account (if the Schafhund Product requires security questions). In order to protect the security of your child's account and preserve your ability to easily reset your child's password online, you should keep the answers to these questions confidential were applicable.
We may collect other information from your child that in some cases has been defined under COPPA as personal information. For example, when your child is signed in with his or her Schafhund Product ID, we may collect device identifiers, cookies, IP addresses, geographic locations, and time zones where his or her Schafhund Product is used. We also may collect information regarding your child's activities on, or interaction with our websites, apps, products and services.
Use of Information
We may use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information (data that does not, on its own, permit direct association with your child's identity) for any purpose. For example, we may aggregate and use information regarding customer activities on our website, Cloud services, and from our other products and services to help us provide more useful information to our customers and to understand which parts of our website, products, and services are of most interest. Aggregated data is considered non-personal information.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Additionally, if your child uses their Schafhund Product ID to sign in on a device that is owned by a third party (such as a friend's or a school devise), your child's information, may be downloaded and visible to others using that device, unless and until, your child's Schafhund Product ID is signed out of that device.
At times Schafhund may make certain personal information available to strategic partners that work with Schafhund to provide products and services, or that help Schafhund market to customers. Personal information will only be shared by Schafhund to provide or improve our products, services and advertising; it will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Schafhund shares personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products to you or your child, managing and enhancing customer data, providing customer service, assessing your or your child's interest in our products and services, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your child's information and may be located wherever Schafhund operates.
It may be necessary—by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence—for Schafhund to disclose your or your child's personal information. We may also disclose personal information about you or your child if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.
We may also disclose personal information about you or your child if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

Please Note: This consent does not apply to the data collection practices of any third parties that may collect, use, or disclose your child's information, are responsible for obtaining separate verifiable consent.
