Schafhund was founded in 2015 after years of transforming global multinational supply chains through dynamic process re-engineering and developing innovative technological solutions. While working within the global environment one had to not only focus on process and technology but how to effectively change cultural beliefs and instill change that would withstand time once the transformation was complete. Many transformational projects would only withstand the change until the leadership changed. Also the focus was on process and technology transformation and did not evaluate the vulnerability of the supply chain.
The vulnerability of the supply chain is key to the success of the end-to-end supply chain operations. The vulnerabilities include process, technology, material supply, logistics, demand, and last but not least the human vulnerabilities. When looking at all aspect of the supply chain one can see that there are multiple points of vulnerability and if one part of the supply chain is disruptive it can affect the whole supply chain. The affects to the supply chain can then impact your partners supply chain and so on.
Hence, Schafhund came to life to bring together years of global experience identifying ways to improve the supply chain and the human factor within the supply chain. From here Schafhund will focus on vulnerabilities to include industrial, society, and man-made and natural disasters. With such a grand mission ahead of Schafhund, the right team is critical to be able to be successful in identifying and evaluating vulnerabilities in each sector. Schafhund has established a team from seasoned business leaders, I/T leaders, senior law enforcement personnel, elite military personnel, senior fire/paramedic personnel and industry subject matter experts within each field to be able to take an unconventional approach to solve the vulnerability issues ahead of Schafhund.
